Bringing the Spa Home to You

Running Cedar Mobile Massage stems from my desire to be a support piece in the wellness regimes of people in my community.

Informed by my work as a coach to long-distance runners, the years I spent immersed in Finnish health and fitness culture, and through caretaking for my grandmother near the end of her life, the mission of Running Cedar is to assist others in accessing senses of safety, strength, and freedom in their bodies.

I can fit effortlessly into a busy day; conducting relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, or palliative sessions in a clean, and orderly fashion. I listen intently, to learn about the nature of your pain, and to hear your goals. And if you are just looking to relax and let go, it will be so.

I develop treatment plans tailored to your needs. I am educated in common conditions relating to stress, muscle pain, athletic performance and recovery, postural compensation, mobility, edema, anemia, arthritis, osteoporosis, and more.

I think you will find Running Cedar Mobile Massage to be an anchoring and uplifting component to your healthcare systems.

I look forward to assisting you in your growth and healing,

Sincerely,

Nathan

In-Home Massage is Backed by Scientific Review

Research published in 2026 suggests that a familiar environment, such as an individual’s home, allows for increased activation of the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest).* A 2020 paper established a correlation between the health benefits of Massage Therapy and the client’s level of relaxation, or, “autonomic tone,” during a session.**

When framed together, these two papers (and many supporting studies) supply reasonable grounds for the home as a synergistic setting for therapeutic touch.
